Retired as Professor (Neurology) & Additional Principal SMS Medical College, Jaipur with 32 years of teaching experience. Established the Department of Neurology at MGMC and the Department was recognized for DM Neurology in 2015. The number of seats have been increased from 1 to 5 students per year from year 2020. Presently serving as PHOD, Department of Neurology, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur; Co-Chairman of Ethics committee, SMS Medical College, Jaipur and Secretary of Institutional Ethics Committee at MGMC, Jaipur; President of Epilepsy Care research foundation (NGO) President of Jaipur chapter of IEA and Treasurer, Indian Epilepsy Association.
Working in rural Epilepsy since last 27 years and running a free epilepsy Clinic in Ratannagar, Dist Churu. Also running Free Epilepsy clinic at “Pragya Mirgi Kendra Bhilwara Rajasthan” & weekly at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital,Jaipur. Rewarded by Govt of Rajasthan with State Award in 2010 for work on epilepsy. Name figures in “Limca Book of Records” for maximum number of free epilepsy camps in India & “Guiness World Record” for providing primary training in Epilepsy to maximum number of persons. Nodal Officer of Epilepsy & Pregnancy Registry, the only one in Rajasthan. Published 72 articles in national & International peer reviewed journals. Also, Former Editor of Rajasthan Medical Journal. Published Book named ‘Handbook of epilepsy- A practical guide”. Launched the first Free App on Epilepsy (Mirgi Samjho) which can be downloaded from Play store App on your Android phone in India and Helpline number - 9610114345 with the aims to provide awareness about Epilepsy and Emergency guidance for poor epileptics."
