The department of Psychiatry MGMCH has the facilities to treat various illness and perform neuropsychological testing. The experienced faculty members not only provide care to the patients but are involved in teaching various undergraduate courses in medicine and other allied sciences and the postgraduate course of Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry.
The Department deals with the study of epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of mental and behavioural disorders.
