Our department caters to about 1000 new hematology patients every year and provide services
to about 30-40 cases every day. In addition we get about 10 cross speciality requests for
consultations from other departments every day. Individual consultants have their focus on
their respective fields of interest and are experts in various diseases and treatment
modalities.
Our department also focuses on clinical research for encouraging innovations in hematology
therapy and treatment procedures.
Our department provides ancillary services and collaborates with several NGOs for
counselling, psychologic support, help in managing funds, stay during treatment, medicines,
and care for patients with hematological disorders.
