ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
ECMO is a life-saving technique that provides temporary support to the heart and lungs of patients with severe respiratory or cardiac failure. Our facility is equipped with ECMO machines and trained medical personnel to initiate and manage ECMO therapy for critically ill patients.
CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
CRRT is a method of renal replacement therapy used to manage acute kidney injury or severe electrolyte imbalances in critically ill patients. We have dedicated CRRT machines and specialized nursing staff trained in renal replacement therapy techniques to provide continuous and precise management of patients' fluid and electrolyte balance.
Advanced Ventilators
Our facility is equipped with the latest generation of advanced ventilators capable of providing various modes of mechanical ventilation, including volume control, pressure control, and synchronized modes. These ventilators offer precise control over tidal volume, respiratory rate, and inspiratory/expiratory ratios to optimize respiratory support for patients with respiratory failure.
Advanced Neurological Monitoring
Advanced neurological monitoring, including Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitoring and Continuous Electroencephalography (EEG), is essential for managing patients with severe brain injuries and neurological disorders. ICP monitoring measures the pressure inside the skull, helping to prevent brain damage from elevated pressure. Continuous EEG provides real-time monitoring of brain activity, detecting seizures and other abnormalities, and guiding treatment decisions. These technologies enable precise, timely interventions, enhancing patient outcomes in critical neurological care.
Ultrasound Nebulizer
Ultrasound nebulization is a medical technique that delivers medication directly to the lungs by converting liquid medicine into a fine mist using ultrasonic waves. This method ensures efficient and effective treatment for respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD, offering a quiet, portable, and user-friendly solution for patients of all ages.
ABG Machine (Centralized)
We have a centralized Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) machine located within the ICU, enabling prompt and convenient analysis of arterial blood samples for critical care patients. The ABG machine provides accurate measurements of blood pH, oxygenation, and carbon dioxide levels, as well as electrolyte and metabolic parameters. Rapid access to ABG results allows healthcare providers to assess patients' respiratory and metabolic status, optimize ventilator settings, and guide treatment decisions in real-time, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
Bedside Heart/Lung Ultrasound (USG)
We have advanced ultrasound machines available bedside for performing real-time cardiac and lung ultrasound examinations. Bedside ultrasound allows for rapid assessment of cardiac function, detection of fluid status, and evaluation of lung pathology, enabling prompt decision-making and optimization of patient management.
2D-Echo (Two-Dimensional Echocardiography)
Our facility is equipped with high-resolution echocardiography machines capable of performing comprehensive cardiac imaging studies. 2D-Echo allows for detailed assessment of cardiac structure and function, facilitating early diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac conditions in critically ill patients.
Bedside X-ray
We have portable X-ray machines available bedside for performing routine and emergency radiographic examinations. Bedside X-rays enable rapid imaging of the chest, abdomen, and extremities, aiding in the diagnosis and management of critical conditions without the need for patient transport.
FOB (Portable Fiberoptic Bronchoscope)
Our facility is equipped with portable fiberoptic bronchoscopes for performing diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures at the bedside. FOB allows for visualization of the airways, collection of respiratory samples, and management of airway emergencies in critically ill patients.
Electrocardiography (ECG)
Electrocardiography (ECG) is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that records the electrical activity of the heart. It is used to detect and monitor heart conditions such as arrhythmias, heart attacks, and other cardiac abnormalities. By providing a detailed graphical representation of the heart's electrical impulses, ECG helps healthcare professionals diagnose, manage, and treat various cardiovascular diseases effectively.
FLO Trac
FLO Trac is a hemodynamic monitoring system that provides continuous and real-time assessment of cardiac output, stroke volume, and fluid responsiveness in critically ill patients. This advanced monitoring technology assists in guiding fluid management and optimizing hemodynamic support to improve patient outcomes.
CMS (Central Monitor System)
Our facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art Central Monitor System (CMS) that provides continuous monitoring of vital signs and physiological parameters for all patients in the ICU. The CMS integrates data from bedside monitors devices, allowing healthcare providers to remotely monitor multiple patients simultaneously from a centralized location. This centralized monitoring system enhances patient safety by facilitating early detection of abnormalities and timely intervention in critical situations.
High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) or High-Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO)
High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) or High-Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO) is an advanced respiratory support system that delivers a high flow of oxygen-enriched air through nasal prongs. This technique provides precise oxygen delivery, humidification, and positive airway pressure, making it effective for patients with respiratory distress and conditions such as COPD and COVID-19. It enhances patient comfort and outcomes by maintaining adequate oxygenation and reducing the work of breathing.
Multi-parameter monitors
A multi-parameter monitor is a sophisticated medical device used in hospitals and healthcare settings to continuously monitor various vital signs and physiological parameters of patients. These monitors typically display information such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation levels, temperature, invasive blood pressure, EtCO2 and CVP in real-time. By providing comprehensive data on a single screen, multi-parameter monitors aid healthcare professionals in quickly assessing a patient's condition, detecting changes, and facilitating timely interventions when necessary. This enhances patient safety and improves the efficiency of medical care delivery.
