Dear Visitors and Patients,

It is with great pride that I welcome you to our Nuclear Medicine Department - a beacon of innovation and compassionate care at the forefront of molecular medicine.

Our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with two advanced PET-CT scanners and a cutting-edge SPECT system, delivers unparalleled diagnostic precision for oncology, cardiology, and beyond. With access to F-18 FDG and Gallium-68 tracers, we provide not only superior imaging but also personalized radionuclide therapies that transform lives. The department comprises four specialized units dedicated to high-dose radionuclide (Iodine-131) therapy, along with a separate unit for radionuclide bone pain palliation and Lu177-based therapies for neuroendocrine tumors, prostate cancer, etc.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to education and research. Our MD in Nuclear Medicine and MSc in Nuclear Medicine Technology programs nurture the next generation of leaders, blending rigorous academics with hands-on clinical expertise. The department is ably supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members, Medical Physicists, Radiological Safety Officer, and trained technologists, all actively involved in academic teaching, research, diagnostic imaging, and the delivery of radionuclide therapies for cancer patients.

As we look to the future, our team remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of precision medicine, ensuring every patient receives world-class care backed by science and compassion.

Together, we are shaping a healthier tomorrow.

Furthermore, the department regularly organizes national seminars, conferences, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. National and international experts are invited as guest faculty to deliver specialized lectures, facilitating knowledge enhancement and the exchange of expertise among faculty members, students, and training personnel.
